anybody out there striped their interior, here in japan i went to the car show and all the ppl like to strip their interiors meaning taking the carpets out back seats and everything, i was going to do that to my car but i dont know what it would look like, anybody have any pics of this.

Uhm...it looks like shit. I had mine out doing a sound deadening project and it simply looked like ass!

If you're die hard go fast you will definitely notice a difference, but unless you put out some big bucks for some custom fiberglass work it's going to look like crap. Some people have gone with the diamond plate floor mats in the front and that looks pretty good.

i agree that a stripped interior looks like crap and is loud as hell (especially if you have no cat and an aftermarket exhaust), BUT...at least its a mod that DOES somthing. maby if all the ricers starts doing that it will compinsate for all the wieght thier big ass wings add.

before anyone says anything..YES..i probably have one of the heaviest eclipses around (from all the stereo stuff), and NO, i dont pretend to be fast. ;)

everybody will try and race you!!! I had about 10 people around my car at the track looking at it because all I had was the front seats, carpet, and dash. IMO I like it because it says "I am not BSing around its all about going fast!" I will always have the back stripped and it does help alot. If you do strip it don't forget to take the time to remove all sound profing and basicaly anything else you can. If you are afraid of the noise then maybe you should not be trying to make your car faster in the first place (I have a apexi exhaust and it is loud).

damn i wish i had my camera now, i have my interior completly striped, from the dash to carpet, even grinded the welds off the rollbar so i could get it out. i am gonna give my interior a little working over.

yeah im stationed in okinawa japan and you can see some pretty awesome fast cars, its nothing like the states everything here is boosted skylines, 240sx, i mean everything even minivans, i bought some stuff here if anybody is interested in lighted up japanese license plates or just regular license plates or anything let me know so when i come back to the states we can talk business.
