I dont really care for the switch to be up top and wanted to re-wire it so i had the switch down near my knee like under the steering wheel or somewhere around there anyone do this??

you should be able to. there's an extra square on the lower dash, and if u don't have power mirrors, use that. My gf's civic has the switch where power mirror controls would be for us. Maybe you could get a switch from a civic?

I would rather put it where the infamous third blank button goes in the dash. It doesn't do anything except provide a decent place to drill to put an alarm LED in. Ya know the one I mean, it is right under the rear defroster and the hazards button. -=B-=

Nope, the Spyder uses the rear wiper switch to control the top. It is more suited for the task of 2 intermittant positions (like a power window switch) , and the Spyder doesn't need a rear windsheild wiper. -=B-=
