$160's too steep, but I'd pay $100. Has anyone asked about a group buy?

wouldn't it be illegal on the streets too?
37934, RE: cool taillight mod for too much cash...........

sure it's legal. The old...what was it...Impala (can't remember off the top of my head) had turn signals like that.

But they only went from the center to the outside. not back and forth. THAT WOULD BE ILLEGAL.

They sell a write up for that on ebay for like $5. But wiring it up looks damn hard.

You can buy the writeup for $5, yeah... but how much do the parts cost? I'll bet at least $30 more, then you have to actually build it, and that takes time... I requested a group buy from the guy that sells them. I'm going to start a new thread to gauge interest.

Hell, if you want crazy lights you should do what I did. My buddy gave me a set of those APC LED lights, I thought I'd just throw them in for the hell of it. Now one of my blinker lights flashes faster than the other and it's pretty damn cool. All my friends love it.

u mayu still have problems depending on how cops are in your area since the car "didn't come with them from the factory". Old Mustangs had those lights also

I remember..
I was pulling out my driveway..
And I saw my friend in his Spyder GST..
He was passing someone..
And I saw those lights, I was like SWEET!!..

Anyways, the lights are pretty sweet..
Someone on a lower (or upper) post said you just cut the black wire (?)

It looked sweet though IMO..

does it only do that when you are hitting the breaks? i'de have tht night rider type setup, i like that a lot

When you hit the brakes with the lights on the inner brake light goes out and the outer and wing get bright....If you step on your brakes and let off looks like a cop also...i have this mod done, the free one. I LOVE IT...I know it's kinda ricey but nothing better than throwing on the wig-wags after a win.

When you put on hazards = Wig Wag Affect
When you it brakes = inner brake light goes out and outers
get bright as fuck along with wing light.
When you use blinkers = what ever blinker you use does wig-wag effect

The only thing with this mod is it make the front lights blink fdast as hell, but who cares.

Hi guys,

Im the black eclipse owner with the sequentials in the videos. I know you all are saying too much money but I telling you I think not. I personally love this system it has the ultimate coolness and uniqueness factor. Everyone has seen the Eclipses with "all-been-done-before" mods but how many eclipses do you see that have an actual "REAL" sequential system. Not to mention customizable. Take a look at the hardware that was designed to drastically simplify your installation. At first I was a little afraid it would take alot to install and more afraid of my car being too modded to un-mod, but this kit does very little to any of your stock parts. Installation was ALOT quicker than I expected as well. And mine was even the prototype. :P

Im not saying that its not impossible to design this system yourself but do you really believe it would be any cheaper after going through different design stages, buying manuals on your electricals, looking at your electronics inside, shopping for the correct parts, and programming and building the system, I dont think so! Besides it has a warranty and the man who built it is a genius with these things. And one of his word as well. I wouldnt trust just anyone to be digging into my car to figure this system out. Im VERY protective of my vehicle.

Anyways this appears as a huge rant and its not but you cant put a price on originality, especially not on a vehicle that has so much available thats mostly all been done. Plus hondahater21, what better way to show off when you leave that Civic in your dust? I can tell you from personal experience it works well for showing off.

Again whats the price of originality? Greater than a measly $160 if you ask me. Hey, whats the price of that spoiler you've got that I saw 3 other times today? Ah ... thought so ... :P

Peace all!
