37750, What to do with tan interior Posted by neovb, Jan-03-03 11:55 AM
I hate the fact that my car has a tan interior, nothing actually looks good in it... I wanted to do something to it. I dont really want it to be super flashy or whatever, just something smooth and nice, maybe black to match the center console.
Anyone do anything to thier tan interior? If so can you please post up whatever you did and pics if available? Thanks!

I don't have pics anymore, but I just went with silver accessories such as: cd player, shift knob, and autometer gauges. I also have the silver face gauges, which came stock in my car. It gave the car a really clean look, and it wasn't overbearing like a bunch of red or blue. I wish I still had pics, it was nice IMO.

I did the same thing as FasterGS. All the silver electronics and gauges look pretty good against the tan/black scheme...

I have the black/tan interior and have slowy started to get rid of the tan. I painted most tan panels black, painted carpet black, and should be doing my headliner and door panels black and getting new seats to get rid of all the tan.

try having some of the trim pieces like the surround for your heater and radio controls painted to match the exterior color. This would not be too flashy, but it would give it something other than stock appearance
