To those who have an SAFC, and that mounted it in thier center console under your headunit, how did you do it? Anyone have any ideas, or any writeups on how to install an SAFC into the center console? Thanks!

you just need to extend the wires and make whatever type of holder/enclosure you want for it (fiberglass/wood painted/etc..)

another member suggested that you just cut a hole to size, and once the s-afc is in place, put a bead of silicone on the underside to hold it in.

I just cut the hole out a bit small and used a dremel to trim it to size. Then put a bead of clear silicone caulk around the back to hold it in place.

Damn I really hate the fact that I have a tan interior...

I like the way OZ_GS's is set up, but I wanted to put a voltmeter and ammeter there. Which do you think would look better guys, having the SAFC in the second compartment under the radio or in the center console? The thing is the SAFC seems to be a bit wider than a normal radio that fits into one of those compartments. Is the fit OK?

It looks like the shifter kinda interferes with the SAFC when its that close to it, how do you like it?

I am gonna mount my gauges right under the deck....I want those to be more visible than all the stuff the SAFC shows. I really just mouted it there so I could tune it and leave it alone plus its good visibility for the passenger to see how cool it is....
