They say you get a free cf hood when you buy a kit or bumper in the same order at importfan.com....anyone done that yet? Seems like a deal to me. :o

yeah about 5 people from this board, you missed out, they are sold out now, INCLUDING ME !!!! ;)

they are free.....but you still pay out the ass for shipping. And they have defects. I bought 5 hoods, 4 of which were cf. All the cf ones had white specs all over them. Here's a pic:



they are alot more noticable in real life, and you can't really see them from more then like 5 feet away. If you put a pearl coat on it, you could prolly pass the flakes off as sparkles. ;)

how is the fitment on the hoods? the pic above looks like its about to "peel" off bucknuttys hood in the upper drivers side corner.

Do they have any fiberglass preditors hoods left the lady i asked sait they were compeletly out of all hoods. I just got my kit in friday. Got my back bumper all buttoned up tonight. Let me no I will need to call them and ask if i could still get one some how. I still need stuff i need to order from there so I'll find out i hope.

the fitment aint that bad for a $200 hood. It sticks up a lil bit, but nuthin that i'm gonna complain about. Also, you can't really tell the fitment on ALL the hoods by looking at my one. If they have any left, i say go for it. The 6 vent glass hood is a pain in the ass to get on. ChryslerKid had to shave underneath his, move the ecu a bit and move.....the thermostat housing i think. CF one jus bolts on.

yeah its a good deal for somthing thats free, and i would consider the predator to be close quality to the aerogear one
