Posted by dsmprobe, Dec-25-02 11:19 AM
did this last week.. took a couple of hours - they were a pita to mount in 95 style headlights (for me atleast).. just thought id shoot some pix up for you guys, i had heard rumors that you couldnt do these in 95-6 style lights. :)

excuse the pix, the only time i had access to a digicam was xmas eve in the rain.

mine are wired to the parking lights. basically i just spliced into the parking lights on both sides and added quick release connectors.

you make em.

did you get two different LEDs cause the passenger side one is a white color and the driver side one has a slightly bluish tint to it.

Make them out of what?

the leds are all the same (4 white 1.1cd) the camera may have caught them differently or something -- i havent really noticed a difference in the colors in person though there may be a different hue or something caused by the angle of the plastic.

they are made from clear miniblind wands, leds, and a dremel.. oh and some peanut butter.

run a search on angel eyes...there was a big thread about this mod (and a nice walkthrough) about a month or two ago. I think Shuwa posted the first thread

okay so I searched and found it: http://forums.2gnt.com/cgi-bin/dcforum/dcboard.cgi?az=read_count&om=5021&forum=DCForumID15

the funny thing is that you actually posted twice in that thread.

here is the link to the how-to: http://students.washington.edu/ashis/Creating%20Custom%20Angel%20Eyes.htm

I really want to do this, but with 2 in each headlight. How come you guys only put them in the high beams??? I think it would look REALLY badass with 4 total. Hopefully I'll be getting this done soon!

i would have done that, but only if i had dual projectors. and i'm only getting projectors, if/when i get the hanabei 8000k hid kit. then i'll think about it.
