ok..so i messed up painting my interior pieces many many many times..and i tried to use paint thinner but that didn't really help that much except take off paint but it still looks liek crap.. so i'm thinking about buying a carbon fiber dash kit off of ebay..anyone know if these look good? are they hard to put in? they are just like plastic stickers that you put over your stock dash right?

i don't have pics of mine but yes it's like a laminate sticker that goes on. Looks really nice IMO

here are some pics of mine. It was easy to put in, and it has been in my car for almost 2 years now.

at work, i have some cf vinyl roll. it just looks like it and is in red and black if anyone wants it. it's just sitting there. looks pretty weird too. it'd be easy to do your dash in that if you wanted to.

could u post some pics of different angles, and whre did u get ti they have the blue cf vinyl tape?? (this is about the red vinyl he jsut posted about ^^^)

Where did you get the red? I want the blue carbon fiber, but I want REAL carbon fiber. Anyone know where to get it?

I got my red real carbon fiber kit from www.wooddashfactory.com. They do have blue carbon fiber, but it is $300 for a 21 piece kit. I hope that helps.

Thanks! I just checked out thier site and they have some pretty cool stuff! That's the first time I saw silver carbon fiber! A little pricey but I guess you get what you pay for!

Not the best picture in the world but I made this myself from a sheet of CF vinyl (the same these expensive ones are made of), a hair dryer and alot of patience. :)

Did HVAC Trim, Vent Trims and a few other areas, total cost: $15

The "expensive kits" are made from real carbon fiber layers that are laminated with a flexible top coat and look really really good imo. there is nothing I hate more than the fake carbon fiber look. All these things on ebay and on hondas that are platered with fake carbon fiber look like shite imo. I think the price for a real carbon fiber kit is well worth the money if you really want it to look like carbon fiber and not a 2 color sticker.
