i am gonna get some decals for the side of my car, i was thinkin about this but in blue, if you have any ideas or links of good websites please post up

I think you should slow down IMO. Did you get your front put on and painted yet? I think you should lower too. Usually when I go too fast and start doing stuff before I finished another part I get really sloppy and make stupid choices.

I like very few graphics but there is this silver rx-7 with some pretty sweet graphics on that I've always liked. I'd say get some custom graphics made and not look like everyone else.

htere is a guy on the board that runs a graffix schoppe, go thorugh him. He has good prices and i believe he may offer a discount to 2gnt members, don't take my word though. Mike got his through him, i think. So go talk to mike. :thumbsup
as far as graffix go, get what you want. Only you can invision what you want, and only you can make it happen. Myself, I have soooo much shit sitting in my basement waiting to go on my car, but when it is done, i promise y'all it'll be schweetness in the full affect, n what not.

also if you do get graphics..see if they go over the door handles because Kaptain Myke's graphics went over his handle and..eclipse/talon door handles tend to break easily..i don't know if he repainted that piece or left it without the graphic..not sure :( but yeah i like the first graphic better than the 2nd one

I lost a small chunk of my white/silver back peice on the drv side. I just need small peices of vinyl to "repair" it. STILL WAITING on my sticker guy to email me back though. *COUGH* I do not like his response time at all with me. Takes almost a week to get back to an email.


BTW...I agree 10000% with what Jeff said. Slow down, padna. Get other shit finished or fixed first man. It wont look good at all with graphics, stock height, and a primered front. Just my advice.


I need to retint my back winder still, and get my skirts put on, but this is minor stuff that can be taken care of at any point. You don't want to have visibly "under construction" stages on your car while you add another part/feature to it.

i am planning on having the car painted and then install the stickers afterward. I am gonna get a complete pearl white paint job, there's other stuff i want to do but i dont have the cash. Yeah the bumper is on it, i have projector headlights, and have coilovers, sideskirts are installed from jeff_95tx. i bought all of this stuf cept the bumper from him.

Just be happy with what you get, and it will not matter what people say about your car. It's yours. Just remember that.

I saw some graphics at one site that were really different and had a nice effect. Can't remember the site. It was like a hole in the side with flames coming up. Hard to explain. Looked kewl tho.

That's just my opinion. I really began to dislike huge graphics because I have seen so many cars draped with them when I would judge at shows. I just don't think that graphics are unique, too "cartoonish" if you will.

Just wondering if anyone has had side decals taken off the car and found that the paint has faded every where but under the decal which leaves a ghost of the design? I am thinking about getting decals but am afraid of what might happen after 3-5 years from now and I decide to get different ones or just take them off to sell the car. If anyone can help with some info please let me know. Thanks 2gnt97gs

graphics aren't unique, but str8 paint jobs, especially factory ones are? It all depends man. Fast and furious shit's not really unique. Other stuff is cool tho imo. I like graphics when done right. ie- right colors, etc. I think car show winners should stand out, and I think a plain paint job just doesn't cut it. I honestly don't like graphics, but I like them more than nothing. I wanna eventually get ghost flames or have the flames done w/ kandy blue. I think all paint looks really nice. When done right, vinyl is mistaken for paint tho. For some reason people a lot of times argue that my flames are painted. Personally, I think graphics help make cars unique. (sometimes graphics are overused tho)

yea, go through stingraygrafix.com i believe is the web site. agression is the guy on here that runs it and he gives sweet discounts to 2gnt'ers. i got a silver mitsu diamond on my hood and it looks sweet, thats what i reccoment, a diamond. he tries really hard to satisfy his customers and id reccomend him any day!

that's cool...I don't dislike all graphics. Just huge ones. Subtle graphics are pretty cool.

my idea of huge graphics is this mx3 in that has white rectangles on the doors for no reason. Just sheets of vinyl. no #'s or anything. Kinda reminded me of touring plates, but no #'s or anything. Or when people cover an entire car instead of painting it. imo, my graphics, brynden's, mike's, etc aren't bad. The graphics I've seen on here aren't bad. Not to pick on the guy, but I don't like the elmo graphics, but he's original, and he likes it. It's not ugly or anything, just not MY taste. That's kewl tho.

yeah but i have a completely blue interior, blue rims would go good on a white car with a blue interior and blue decals :)

If you wanted custom grafix I will not charge you extra to make them like some grafix companies will...they charge you more for the set-up fee to put it on the program to cut it out. I will not do that, I give all 2gnt members a much better deal...in return I only ask that you put or logo on your car. Its only a small 2" x 2" decal...most local customers put them on their side windows where ya'll put your 2gnt stickers. But yah if you think of some custom decal or you can even mix 2 diff ones together to get a look your looking for. We also have someone who can draw you up a decal if you let us know what it is your looking at getting. We can even alter existing ones. Email me or post to our forum on what you would like.

I highly recommend stingraygrafix. They did my graphics and Jeremy(aggression) is one of my good friends. He will hook you up.

So what's the turnaround time on Stingray's graphics? I found a local shop here in Tulsa, OK and their turnaround time is around 24 hours. A hood banner for my car (it's the same logo as my sig below) ran me about $25 when it was all said and done and I had it in just over 24 hours. Granted, I know your turnaround might be higher and cost might be more, but hey, if I can help someone out, I will. Just lemme know some times and what format I need to send stuff to you in.

And I'll happily put your logo on my ride. Hey, I'll even put logos and links to your site onto my car club's site (just click my banner below).

well the windshield banner would run you $15. As far as format is concerned jpg would be best but I can always convert it a jpg if its a bmp or gif.

$15 isn't bad. Probably not much more after shipping is concerned. I work with photoshop pretty extensively, so I am eaily make it jpg.

I don't like graphics myself, I'm more into sweet paint jobs and maybe a Chromalusion flame job in the front or chromalusion strips as they look awesome. Graphics aren't my thing but do what YOU like. But if it looks bad we still get to rag on you :)
