not to bad, eh? didnt even need a puller. just gave it a couple of good whacks with a rubber hammer. man that whole airbag assembly is so confusing. me and my dad were trying to figure out a way to just unplug the unit from the column so i could put the stock one on back on if i like. we just ended up cutting it off. and my dad managed to crack the top part of my steering column while i was inside the house. oh well u cant tell. its a little smaller than the 2g in diameter and feels really good. its leather too! but its got a couple of scuffs on it but oh well. say what you will about it, i like it and was going for something pretty different. for $25 shipped you cant go wrong rite? i wonder if im the first person to do this, if not, the first on 2gnt. for all those wondering, i bet the 3g wheel will fit

I unplugged the clip from the wire, but I cut the clockspring off. Couldn't figure that shit out. Is that what you did?

derno. i think the 2g is big and bulky and looks like the wheel that was in my moms diamante like 8yrs ago. and i was going for something different. the leather feels better than the stock plastic one and it was only $25 soooo...

there it is. but i took out the light today so no more srs

yep them 1G wheels are way better than 2G wheels if I hadn't of gotten my nardi wheel I woulda gave it a try hehe.

im almost positive that the airbags wont go off if the light is on. Its like the ABS, if the light is on, its not gonna work (or so i belive).

what about Cruise Control? is there any way we can still keep it if we change the steering wheel.
