hey guys i am at a stand still. gettin ready to repait the car and some have said to keep and to lose the spoiler?????????/
i have glassed all of the kaminari widebody kit in and have shaved the taillights. the gas door is relocated to the rear in the center. so what should i do. i dont have the digi setup totally yet but just wonderin...

well id keep that spoiler or get another one. i dont really like the wingless look. to me it just looks like something is missing. but thats just my opinion.

I would lose the wing. Personally, I don't like wings at all, especially the huge aluminum ones that make a car look utterly ridiculous. I have seen cars that are just bad ass, but then I see a pointless shopping cart wing and it just kills it. Also, I'm w/EZ, our cars look so much cooler without them.

What kind of wing is it any ways? if it is the stock 3 piece or turbo spoiler i say ditch it. you arent going for the oem look

no wing, imo... then if u want one later, u are coo.. if u put one on now, u will have to repaint later on...

go with a wing that only attaches to the hatch, this way it won't be a lot of welding/repainting/$$$.

I would keep a spoiler. They help even out the whole sports car appearance. Cars need a front, sides, top, back and spoiler. It just looks..... complete? Thats why I dont like convertibles, you lose so much of the car's overall shape.

But yeah, I think a spoiler, no matter which one, helps even out the car and give a sporty look. Also, people do so much to put spoilers on, from buying it to painting and mounting. You'd be spending money to take it off and shave the holes. Paying money to LOSE something from the car, not gain. I mean, if you didnt have a spoiler in the first place, I bet youd want one then.....

wait I am thinking of the wrong widebody ugg anyways keep the wing it will look very odd without it considering all you have done.

I like the stock turbo spoiler but with your car so modified, I would say no wing. Those big wings just make me lose respect for a car because of how ridiculous and non-functional it is, especially for a FWD.

i dont talk shit that i dont back up. so lets start there. i will email the old pics to someone that can post them up for me. the car is totaly gonna be different than the pics. the lights are already shaved and the gas is relocated. the 20s will stay the same. but i am repainting the car so i can pull off the spoiler not a big problem.
