Here are my new diamond cut floor mats. Just put them in today. Also spray painted the carpet black. Let me know what you think.

hope your spay-painted carpet lasts longer than mine did! its ACC time for me. but that does look good, i guess you wont really be stepping on the black part a whole lot so you should be alright.

spray painted carpet? you should try fabric dye (die) i seen crazy things with that stuff, why would you use spray paint?

The spray paint will hold up just fine. I spray painted my actual floor mats black. Sure, it seems crazy at first, I admit I was skeptical too. I just had an extra set. Anyhow, they turned out awesome, looks totally stock, just black instead of gray. It had only faded slightly on the driver side, where my clutch foot goes. Even with that, well worth the $5 it costs. I plan to get diamond cut eventually, and paint the carpet black. (Like him) Once that is done, I bet I could hit my floor mats with another coat and sell them on ebay for upwards of $50....

I decided to spray paint the carpets just because I thought it would look better than the dirty tan that they were. Also I figure my feet wont be touching the carpet that much, so the paint shouldn't come off.

What kinda spray paint did you use?? Does it really look and feel the same??

The carpet feels almost the same as before, just a little bit harder. And for the hood, I bought it off of one of my friends for $340. It was already painted the same color as my car. The cheapest I've been able to find it online is either summit or jc whitney(not sure which one), but it's almost $600 from them.

After painting it all looks the same, just a tad stiffer.

I have heard that ACC isn't as good as ACS that you get from JC Whitney. JC Whitney gave my cc # out tho and I had $105 charged for nothing, so I will never order anything from them again. I got the ACC blue and it went pretty good. Time consuming, but it fit pretty good.
