My dad was talking to me about getting white face gauges and the indigo needles for my car for Christmas, but he/I are wondering how hard it is. Do our cars have a "one-way" fits only needle, or do you have to make your best guess to where the needle goes back??? To anybody who has done this..how hard is it??? TIA

Just a warning for ya, the white gauges that come with the needles are stickers to put over ur stock gauges. I actually got the needles with

with a blue logo. Yes you will have to guess where to put the needles back on, luckily i go through ez pass here everyday where I can set my speedo pretty easy, the rest of the gauges were easy to set. Car idles about 800 pms, put the gas on when u fill it up, and the temp gauge goes at the midpoint when warmed up.

Also you will have to remove the red off the old needles, it took countless times of getting the right paint color to make the blue shine just right on needles. If i had to do it over again I would of got the red needles to avoid this process, but they def look great when complete.

Installing the gauges it really easy. You just have to take it slow and be patient.

I did mine in about 10 minutes. (Laying them in and centering everything).

Take your time - it's not hard at all if your good with your hands. I've heard so many people screw up trying to do this.

Man - It isn't that hard. Things to remember:

1) Make sure the Gauge lays flat.
2) Make sure the needles are not touching any part of the gauges.
3) Fill up your tank first so you know it's at the FUllEST Position.
4) After everything in laid in place - SLOWLY put theplastic cover back on - This is what holds the Guages in Place.
5) Run your wires and hook them up to your parking light.

Just take your time. I took the entire cluster inside and did it on the Kitchen Table. (Cleaned the inside Plastic cover on both sides while I had it off).

As far as the Needle - I'm not sure about removing the needled. I know they sell these rings that you put around the Needle Base which lights up Indiglo - They have them on Ebay and looks really nice.

The Indiglo Guages that I bought on Ebay for $34 allows you to change the color from Green to Blue. ALl you do is lay it over the old gauges - You DO NOT need to remove the Needle.
