So is that the only way to do it, to heat it to pry it off?
Thanks again

you can do what i did.. take the headlights out.. and break the orange piece from the inside with a screw driver and pliers... i did this a long time ago.. its pretty easy and you dont have to take apart the whole housing... at least, thats was what i was thinking, when i first did it... but i have also taken apart a couple headlamps now, and its getting easier and easier to do... if i would have done it over again, i would probably taken apart the housing.. its a bitch getting ALL the parts of the orange out and not losing the clear piece. if you wanna try doing it my way.. and need a better guide.. let me know... but taking apart the housing isnt very hard.

yup the 1st headlight will take a little while if you've never done it, the 2nd one will take half as long. but its not hard. just make sure not to leave it in the oven too long.

Can you do the same with altezza tails? It would be cool to paint the altezza's to match my car. If so, has anyone got pictures?

yeah d00d you can do it to all cars, haha the guys at my old 3.8mustang board used razor blades to open up the headlights then used silicon (and whatnot) to seal it back up, it looked like a major bitch and several people fucked up and had to buy new headlights, if they only knew there was an easier way :) i've done it too, its not nearly as hard as it sounds, and its not risky at all (the oven technique)
here read this, its crazy http://www.fnsweet.com/garage/clears.shtml

sory if i confused you, but just put it back in the oven and the factory glue should reseal itself

>put it back in the oven and the factory glue should reseal itself
yes! its hella easier than having to re-glue it. btw don't be afraid to use the oven. as long as u keep a close eye on ur headlights you'll be okay.
