I decided to put hood pins on my hood and then when I got done, it didn't look good. So now I'm now debating on whether I should just get a Stock Hood or get a Carbon Fiber hood for my car. Any opinions? and yes I am getting a body kit for my car.

gotta go with the carbon fiber hood, just make sure its a good one like one from VIS Racing. my friend bought a cheep-E offa ebay. it sucked ass.

well i was making a fiberglass one and then stopped cause i lost time. i just have a shell of the top part. i dont' like the two tone look either but want something light. more than likely i'll go with a fiberglass one

you could always get a CF hood then have it sprayed body color. Stock hoods are expensive, but if you like the one tone then id say hit up a junk yard and grab a steel hood for cheap...If you go cf, def get a quality piece because the cheap ones dont fit right and begin to fall apart.

i guess if you want to be a dick about it.. its cool.. i can handle it... its not my fault some idiot in texas sold me his silver bumper and neglected to tell me that he put vinyl stickers covering like half of the bumper... and when i took that shit off.. the color had changed slightly.. i dont mind

thanks for the kind words.. there are angles and lights.. it tends to show its off-coloredness (not a word, but oh well :)) itll all be painted again later so im not too worried.

and ill be getting a fiberglass hood sometime in the distant future.. i dont like two-tone.. not saying that you all should like it or not... just my opinion. sheesh! :)

it's all good. I was just kidding. most RS' do have the black handles and mirrors. I wonder why? :P Anyways, to get back on topic- I plan to get the invader cf hood and paint it except the vent. I think it's a sweet hood. Maybe you should do what I am doing or just leave it cf. I love this hood. Here's a pic:

yeah i looked at that when you put a photoshop post 9D9. i was gonna do some photoshopping but then said nah cause i couldn't get it right. if i'm gonna buy a CF hood, then it's gonna stay CF cause it's a waste of money to paint it. A guy here got a CF hood, then cracked it so he painted it and left CF flames on it. looked pretty nice but he also abused his eclipse really bad.

I thought about leaving cf flames like they are coming out of the vent. Not sure tho. depends on $$$ b/c I wanna do this with extra $$$ so I will have enough to get stage 1'd.

yeah i'm going stage 3+ on mine but doing more of a custom setup and doing it all at once. just need a new head, block and a few other parts and boom i'm done but since christmas is coming up i wanna go ahead and see if i can get everyone to pitch in and get me a body kit and hood so i'll have the looks and the power to beat some honda and domestic A$$!!!!!!
