Materials needed:

3' x 6" Metal Mesh Grille (found at any Home Depot / Lowe's / General Hardware Superstore

Devcon Steel Epoxy Putty

Scissors

Cloth Sturdy HandGloves



Approximate Time Interval - 1 hr, plus time of removing/installing bumper back on vehicle.

Remove the front bumper. This is explained here. (bottoms up!)

The epoxy package looks like this. And this. WATERPROOF! It looks alot like plastique explosives hehe

Put on Gloves! Or you WILL cut the hell out of your hands!

Cut the mesh approximately 2-3 inches larger than each hole. You will be cutting the mesh out in a pattern like this to make it easier to tuck corners in and around the curves.

First apply putty (kneaded to set in compound) in a little "wad of chewing gum" on each corner of the bumper THEN put the mesh on over the hole, mashing the mesh onto the putty. After that you will then put a kneaded ball of putty on the outside of the mesh into/through the putty underneath on the bumper. (you are basically making a bigger wad, though the mesh so when it hardens like a rock it is not going anywhere. See illustrations> ....Figure 1 Figure 2 Figure 3 Figure 4 Figure 5 Figure 6

Let the putty compound set in for about 10 minutes. After that it becomes rock solid.

Place / reinstall front bumper back on vehicle.

Your done. Oh, and uh...don't break your tools.

Couple things I'd like to add.

You really don't have to take off your front bumper to get a grill in there. If you get under the car, take off all the clips and bolts from the side and the bottom, the bumper should come out far enough that with some effort, you could reach in and put a grill. This is how I did it.

Also, with this method, the putty wasn't needed. The grill sort of just wedged itself in.

Without a doubt mykes' approach is more permanent and just less sloppy, but I thought i'd just throw this info out. :)
