ok i decided to fuck it, im tired of playin with it and i want it to look good, so where is a body shop that i can trust? i got an estimate before from an import shop to install a full body kit for $300 this shouldnt be as bad so i figure $100

the best paint shop around my area is charging me 650 to re-do my front, fit it better than the gay body shop b4, etc and install blitz type 2's. No gaps anywhere either. This shop is very skilled. They have molded 2 diamantes and molded the full kit, front, sides, and rear and they are both daily driven. NOT A SIGN of the front molds even trying to crack free. They are very good with the quality, matching, and durability from what I've seen, so I am willing to pay out the ass for that. Chances are if you pay 300 for a full kit, you are gonna end up with paint chipping off and any fitment issues won't be fixed. Maybe not, but a lot of the cheaper body shops have great deals b/c they are desperate for business. Sometimes u just get lucky tho. Ask around your area and ask to see some work. Find out how long the stuff has held up, etc.

I was quoted a full kit to run me about $800-1200 for install. This is the same place that did my front in the pic. Fits better than my stocker ;)

Yeah it depends on if you mean install or paint and install. Installation of a full body kit (just drilling holes, no custom fiberglass) is typically 150 and up. Painting and installing a full body kit without a lot of custom fiberglass/bondo work is usually 700 and up. Modifying the kits to fit would be an extra 100 to 200 if the kits don't fit good and require a lot of work. Figure anything under 850 painted and installed for a full kit is good if they use PPG or Dupont or other name brand paint.

yeah i meant install, not paint and install, and i think i will just have to get the hood and the bumper molded at the import shop and see what it comes too. thanks for the imput guys :thumbsup

damn boss, i payed 1300 for the install of a 11peice kit, they had to do some remolding to the hood, supra taillights with the buckets, and to have the targa cut.
