3506, cost of quality paint job
Posted by phrenzy, Apr-26-01 01:50 AM
How much is it going to cost me to get my car painted if I decide to do so? I'm thinking along the lines of a flat (non-metal flake) slate blue/grey color. I want factory quality or better paint, not that better get maco shit.

it all depends on the body shop, what kind of supplies they are using, and what you want done... A quality paint job is mostly in the prep work... blocking the car and such...and look for PPG certification.
If you are in the midwest, check out www.jdsauto.com

let me know if you have any other questions.

A good paint job inside and out using PPG paint is at least 1800, and up to 3000 depending on the shop. Just check out the work that the body shop has already done before you decide to get it painted there.
