34836, integra tailights Posted by blitzeclipse99, Nov-20-02 04:18 PM
has anyone ever seen 94-00 integra tailights on a 2g? I did have them on my car(half way done), all I had to do was weld the new brackets in then I broke my middle piece. I just wanted to know if I would have been original or if it's been done before.

Not that theres anyone wrong with integra tails, but why modify one of the greatest looking ass ends ever? On another note, my personal preferance doesn't really like the integra tails, but Ive seen worse. The s2000 tails arr pretty bad. I know people like them, but the nice full-length look of the eclipse tails is nice, the s2000 lights are so square and short... but I have seen better than integra. Like ferrari tails. Looks awesome on the one car I saw. They go perfect with the rear end, long across in black with 2 red circles on each side. But my point was, I like eclipse just the way it is.

S2000 tails on an eclipse is badass dood. We got a houston GS-T here with them on his widebody blitz eclipse with sylvia headlites. His car ownz.

yea the s2000 look pretty well, the first time i seen them were at nopi, then 3 weeks after i see like 4 more diff cars with it. alot of the copy cats tails are looking fucked up though.( poor molding job) the integra tails would just be too much rice. kaptain mike, i was gonna do the s-15 conversion but the damn lights arent DOT certified and i can past inspection in Va with out being DOT or SAE certified. DAMN IT!

I still like the 3000GT tails on our cars, but I gotta agree, the s2k tails are nice

I say if you like them and think they would look good the go for it. All these people say don't do it but I see stuff on some of there cars that I would never do its all upto the owner of the car and there like/dislikes. Good Luck

Well another reason we say no to integra lights is because its not just the look that counts, its what car it came from. And obviously... Supra, 3000gt, s2000, ferrari tails are thought cool of. But integra tails... Im not saying the integra is a step down, but I dont picture people checking out an integra driving by over an eclipse. While the above cars are clearly upper level cars, so it seems more understandable to put their taillights on. Because no matter how apart your car is from the car whos taillights you have, anyone will still be able to tell what type of taillights they are.
Also..... For the guy who said 3000gt tails on an eclipse. I agree, those are crazy, same with supra. But dont say that at dsmtuner.com..... Someone said supra taillights there a few weeks ago and got torn up. I mean torn up.

Well, I ended up putting my eclipse tails back on...I'm sticking with those. i just wanted to something different. At the time of my conversion, everyone seemed to have supra tails. I got the idea because I judged some car shows this summer, like most of the so cal hot import nights and import revolutions, and all I saw were the same old conversions. I was going to do the integra tails with the type r jdm headlights, but I decided not to put my car in shows. But don't worry, I'm staying with my ass end, and I love it!

Hahah awwwwe. I didnt even get to the taillights, whats up with that shit coming out the middle of the bottom of the back? Or is that the muffler. haha. I think middle mufflers should be reserved for boxsters

I still say that if you like it do it. they don't look to bad just does not look like it was done very well and yes that is the same car. I already have a set of supra tails and a set of r33's on the way. I decided not to go with the supra's because everybody has them and they don't even look that good, so I am going to play with the r33's and see what happens :) .

I would love to have 2 mufflers in the center instead of 1 on each side. Looks pimp as hell. I had originally planned to get a blitz rear and do that. The rest of that car besides the doors and now mufflers is whack. I like this tail light job. I think it's altezzas molded in, without the clear lense over them, and painted. Looks original.

well I will be damned! There has been an eclipse with integra tails! That one was done differently than the way I was doing it. I didn't mold the outside corners of the lights into my body, I had to build a small box out of sheet metal to create the angle of the integra tails onto my body. It was difficult, but I'm keeping my ass. Also, I think that the molded in altezzas look better without the wing.

That was that same ugly cheese and wood car for sale on ebay. That's just awful. If I was going to do some different tails though I'd probably either get the JDM/Euro tails for the Eclipse or try something a little radical like the R33/R34 tails because you don't see that a lot.
