34713, Spoilers? Posted by eklipz264, Nov-20-02 12:14 AM
Anyone know if there is a spoiler out there that will bolt directly to the stock holes where the stock 3 piece low spoiler is? Thanks

Yeah, check out Wings West. I think their "mid wing" will bolt in, and I think they're the ones who make the "viper" wing too.
edit: Yeah, they do. Here are some pics and links

from what i heard, the midwing does not. you would also have to weld one hole on your hatch where the wing connects to it near the windshield

(Its actually stock sarrono red, but my digicam sucks, so it looks like a different color)

Here's some old pictures. Hope they show up:

If they do not show up - I'm sure someone can figure out how to make them show up.
P.S. With the old factory 3-piece spoiler - there's a hole in the center of your trunk lid. This hole will have to be filled and painted if you want to get the Wings West 3-Piece Mid Wing.

The WW 3 pieces are not bolt on, I installed it myself and I have to drill new holes for that.

The wing is NOT a direct bolt on, It's not even close! Below is a schematic of the difference between the 2 wings. I've also got a shot of the rear of the car for ya.

There made by V-Tech. Really that's the name of the company. I ordered it online 4 years ago.
Just go to www.yahoo.com or www.google.com and type V-Tech covers in the search field and see what happens.
I had it painted when I had the Spoiler installed and it's held on by 3M Double Side Tape (Which seems to be very strong because it's been on there for 4 years now and 2 of those years were in Minnesota Winters.)
At night they look AWESOME - sorta like the Supra Lights.
I paid $45 for the Pair.
