34589, Black Projectors Posted by Uberingram, Nov-18-02 02:53 PM
These are kinda what I want to put on my maroon 99. I don't know beans about lighting so...any input would be great.

Are they hard to install? Any brands I should stick with? How much should I be spending on these? Do they use the stock bulbs or what?

they will not be as bright as the stock lights, although the lighted area will be wider. if you want stock brightness, get mitsu 97-99 lights. or if you really want the projectors, get an hid lighting kit and problem solved. later chris

If you are going for looks and can get used to things quickly, go for it. I have black projectors and they suck for lighting. Look hella fine though ;). High beams are about as bright as upgraded stock running lights. I would imagine that the chrome projectors would get a lil better brightness level, as black absorbs light, whereas chrome would reflect it. I hear that the double Projectors are mo betta for lighting, but they recquire alterations in stock wiring.
