For those that have painted their interior, how did you get around the speaker grill area on the doors?
Did you just tape them up? or take them off? If you can take them off .. how did you do it? and how did you put it back on?
TIA

I do have power windows. There is like plastic screws kinda holding the grill on. They screws are like molded in and the only way to get them off seems to be to break them. But if there is some covering technique to cover the grill while painting .. plz do tell hehe

thats wierd, in my car (95 gs w/ PW), the grills have little tabs on them to hold em in place. are you talking about just the grills or the whole lower part of the door panel? i know alot of it is held together by thos melted looking plastic screw things, and i dont thing you can dissasemble them.
im sure you can do it using masking tape though, that stuff is miraculous when it comes to painting stuff. just take your time on the prep work and youll save a lot of cleaning and headaches later on.

Yeah mine have that melted plastic on the back to hold them aswell. I was doing just the opposite and painting the grill but I just used masking tape in the little crevis around the grill and covered the rest of the door in plastic... worked like a charm...
Good luck!!
