34055, 3rdgen wheels on 2ndgen car... Posted by a_miller_76, Nov-10-02 11:13 PM
Okay, I know a guy who just bought a 3rd gen eclipse and immediately got 18's and his wheels are in his house. He said I could have his wheels for nothing if I just came and picked them up.
Will they fit? I still want to get some nice wheels later on, just for now if these will fit it will get me out of the 14's and into something higher.

aaron... quick question.... I see you have a k&n on your factory intake... do you happen to know the part # for that filter? skidevil13@adelphia.net Thanks

Not off hand. I got the filter with an APC intake I had for my S10 truck. When I sold the truck I put the factory stuff back on and used that intake on my Eclipse. Problem is that I had to cut the intake apart so I had a tube to go between the filter and the intake tube. They are both the same diameter, so I had to have something to bridge them together. Then the filter was too heavy and the factory pipe has flex sections, so I had to rig it in to hold it up.
It's very ghetto, I would suggest getting a good hard short ram if you are going to do anything with the intake. I'm saving up money now for mods and will be getting a full CAI (probably AEM).
