to those that have done it, did yall use viynl or get it painted on?? i have the dark green color, thinking about getting silver diamonds.

vinyl's good for several reasons. If you pick a nice color, people will argue with you that it is painted on. It's cheaper than paint. If you don't like it, take it off and be done. Paint is there until you have a some serious $$$.
You can see what it looks like on your car and maybe decide to have it painted on later. PLus if it gets chipped up, scratched, etc. No expensive paint work, just peel and slap another one on.

if you mean the paint around it will fade, i know, i plan on keeping it on there for a good while and ordering more when it goes bad. plus i forsee a paint job in the future, so i may just have it painted on then.

yup, it will fade, but if you don't like the stuff, you probably have it removed right away.

Not to stell your idea or anything but I would like to get one for my car too. Someone above said they can get them made.. how much? I would want silver as well.

You could do it for $1.99 in spray paint... I did it, well, something else on the hood, but with spray paint, it looked crazy. I had a silver car, sparkly, and did a half-stripe kinda with sparkly color changing paint, with $20 spray paint. Looked nice to bad its gone
