Has anyone ever added an aftermarket sunroof to their DSM? Im looking into it and am trying to see what others have done. Any recommended brands or know of anyplace to get good deals on the parts?

Yes i have an aftermarket sunroof. I have an rs didnt come with one, i wanted one so i got a power sunroof cut in its nice, 1 touch and all closes automatically when the car is turned off. Im not to sure how much it was ill ask my dad he got it for me

Is there a way that a sunroof that opens all the way back fit in our cars, not talking about the tilt up and back I'm talking about like the ones in some bmws

i know what youre talking about. i doubt they have those. thats a lot of work. but all the bmws my mom has had have been the slide into the roof kind, like you are talking about

how much do aftermarket sunroof run usually??? how about labor costs??

depends on where you go. I used to install sunroofs for a detail shop and I think they went for 350 installed for a power roof, and 200 something for a pop-up. I haven't seen any aftermarket ones lately but the ones I installed were crap. The biggest problem is car roofs these days are all curved. So unless you get one made specifically for your kind of car then there is a good chance you will have problems with it, if not at first then as it gets older. My advice would be to not go cheap... spend the money to get a good roof and have it installed professionally.
