I don't know if the switch or the motor has problems, but I can't roll down my driver side window, how can I check.

You sure you didnt hit the window lock button??
and if not then you can check the switch function with a voltmeter and if the switch works and its not just off the track.
Then chances are its the motor

depends where you get the motor or part from... my drivers window motor went out at 40000 about got a new one from the dealer with a discount ...forgot the price... make sure the switch and plugs are all in. and test the motor ..
