hey guys, i just put in a bunch've blue interior lights. i'm gonna get a JL Audio stealth box eventually and thus be losing that little lite in the trunk. so i got a 15" blue streeglow neon and mounted it under the rear deck. tapped into the wires from the orignal trunk lite, an hooked the neon up to that. so now when i pop the trunk i've got a blue neon light instead. i put in an overide switch next to the strut tower cover too. looks really clean.

then i got one've those streeglow interface thingies. that's up front under the dash. ran some wires back to the neon in the trunk. got some blue hyper LED's and put those under the dash on both sides (by where your feet go). hooked the interace up to the parking lites. so now you turn on the parking lites an you've got the blue lights under your feet and in the trunk. put on some tunes and the whole car pulses to the music. looks really bad ass. especially if you put the rear seat down.

i put in a switch up front too so you can disable the trunk neon an just have LED's by your feet on. the wiring for that was quite complicated... (two sources for the neon - the interface and the original trunk light). i got some more LED's to mount too. maybe under the front seats to light up the back seats. still hafta mount switch an the interface under the dash too. but i'm tired. :P hehe. sorry i don't have pics... i really need a digital camera. it looks really nice at night though. especially when you have it pulse to the music. haha i like it. running wires is a beeyatch though. :P

are these the LED lights that go in place of the bulbs by your feet? If so, where did you get them..all these blue lights that i get for my interior seem to fade or change color after awhile..i'm very disappointed with them.. thanks

Sounds cool....just make sure you can't see any of the lights from the outside of the car...that looks sooooooooooooooooooooooooo ricey!

Those little bulbs near the feet have the same size of our side markers, I think they are 168/194.They are easy to find.

i got the LED's from this shop we got over hear call Fast and Furious (go figure). they sell mostly stuff to dress up your car.. not much performance stuff (though i did get my CAI from them) they're kinda pricey - $30 for 4 LED's. they seem pretty good quality. got the resistor built into it an everything. just tap into a 12v source. the store's like next door to radio shack. radio shack didn't have any blue LED's.. :(

and yea you can't see 'em from outside really. unless i turn on the trunk one and have the rear seat down. that neon's really bright (and mounted high since it's under the rear deck). haha i'm so proud of my install with the neon. i used a stereo mini plug (1/8") and jack for the power. so you actually plug in the cord from the neon into a jack built into the cover for the strut tower. looks really clean. hehe. wish i could show picks... gotta find a camera :P

oh yea the LED's dont replace the bulbs by your feet (though i'm sure you could use them to replace them... those bulbs should be hooked into a 12V source). i got my LED's hooked up to the streetglow music interface thingy. just got them wired and kinda tied under the dash. you don't see them so it's just a matter of aiming them so you don't get a spot of light or anything.

Wow that sounds really expensive for 4 LED's... Ebay has the VARAD Hyper blue LEDs with the resistor wired in for around $10-11 dollars for 4 of em. And they also make Blue LED's that are direct replacements for the 194 interior lights as well... just pull out the old bulbs and slide in the new LED 194s. They look pretty sweet.

ok are the 194 bulbs the bulbs by the feet that you just pull out? I bought many different brands of 'blue' bulbs and they all seem to fade..what is this LED Bulb stuff? Is it an LED inside a lightbulb or something? Do they fade? Where do you guys get those? Also, do they make those for the Dome lights? Thanks guys..appreciate it.

Yes they are the ones that go by your feet. Also same size as the one that go in the side markers and also in the glove box. I dont have a Dome light since I have the sunroof, but my mirror has 2 blue led's in it now also. And the light in the trunk. Here are some links...

What about the dome lights that go inside the rear view mirror for us that have the 10th OZ edition? Anyone know if those come in white or hyperwhite ? What number are those ? I hate that stock yellowish... TIA.

Uhhh... didnt you see my post... It has 3 Ebay auctions and the 1st one is the LED bulbs for the rear view mirror??? I bought them and they arent exactly the same size but they work fine and they are really blue! Re-read my post and CLICK on the links i put there.

The links specified are obviously dead since they are a year and a half late.... but does anybody know where to find led's to replace the lights for our mirrors/by our feet/side markers with blue leds? 194 is the foot lights, i forget what the sizes for the dome and the trunk light is. sunroof and non sunroof are different though.

Alright, so 194 for our feet. 1157 and 1156 is for our turning signal and reverse lights. But how bout the rest of the bulbs in our dash and hvac, also the lights attached to our rearview mirror. thanks in advance for any input..

To bad we don't have a page on the main site that lists all of our bulbs/sizes/and where they go...Mods??? Think we maybe able to change that up a bit? Just a little suggestion...I know you guys are all wayyy busy! :thumbsup
