I was told its brake dust? they look rusted. What can I do for this

check my site... u can take em off, clean em... then paint em if u wanna, and then reinstall em.... takes about 4 hours, and a night to dry em...

just go down and get a deal of brake cleaner from wally world or your auto shop, pop off your calipers and hose them down and get after it with a wire brush and rags, most if not all of it will come off, then paint them. they look 200% better painted rather than the rusty color they will soon return to, then just blast off the dust at the next car wash and they will say like new. use the highest engine temp paint you can find tho, and use lots of it.

use a wire brush wheel or something worx good and makes it look brand new. Then paint it afterwards so it won't rust again :) Or shoot it with clear it you don't want it colored hehe.

I used Dupicolor High Temperature engine paint. The color is called Ford red I think. Not a perfect match to my car's color but good enough. I put on 4 coats of paint and its held up perfectly for 6 months and counting.
