I got the heavy leather shift knob for $22 from Mach V, and put it on right away. What a difference! Not only does it look great and feel great, but the extra weight makes shifting almost effortless. Next up: shortening my shifter =). I'll post some pics here in the next couple days.

yeah after i got mine, it seemed taller cuz the knob is taller, now i need to cut it

I have Glenn's short shifter and also just got the oem leather shift knob about a week ago. Im just now getting use to the new height. nice feel and I love the added weight :thumbsup
