where do i take mine or how are u guys getting them different colors i want to get mine black and to get rid of the letters on it.can i do it myself

its normally under a hundred bucks. just go to a body shop and have
it painted . i got mine done for 30 .

i removed my mitsubishi sticker, my rs sticker, and eclipse from the bumper. the eclipse part is simple, just use goo-gone and a plastic scraper. the rs/gs, and misubishi are a pain in the ass though.

The back of my car is a color matched peice of vinyl. If you so it right it looks as good as paint and its MUCH cheaper.

The letters peel off. Use Goo Gone so it's not sticky once you are done. Take it to the body shop and haev them paint it. Get a good color match because if you do it yourself with spray paint it won't look very good. Good luck with it.

Dude, get the vinyl, get that carbon fiber vinyl that goes in the interior. That stuff looks cool if you have a black car, I put it on my car for awhile it looked good and its MUCH cheaper than paint, I had the black vynil in my sig but its all reversed. I took it off like a week ago and there is no residue left behind, it just the stock look right now.

Just peel them off with your hands then to get the funky residue off...either use goo gone or I used bug and tar remover. It will probably leave "ghost letters", but no need to worry about that since your going to get it painted. Good luck..

try some car polish for removing ghost letters!

I've tried using turtle wax and also tried using some wd-40(someone said that it worked in an old post) to get rid of the ghost letters....however they are still there. Any suggestions?

hmm how old is your car? sometimes the sun has burned the backgroundcolour so the letters will come back

It's a 99...I really want to get it painted to match the car...but as for now $$$ is a problem.

try this,, wash the area with soap and water, let it dry, rub the area with lighter fluid removing all the old crap, then wash again with soap and water, let it dry, then wax the area

I used my fingernails and a little goo gone to take off the goop left where the letters used to be.

Since everyone is talking about logos and stuff im really wanting to get a black mitsu emblem to replace the red one. Anyone know if anyone sells them?
