32451, Should I get these 5Zigen Imperio M-05 Rims?
Posted by eclipse804, Oct-12-02 12:26 PM
Hey all, I am thinking about picking up these 5 Zigen Imperio M-05 rims in Super Silver on Monday with Kumho 712 225/45/17 tires on Monday. Should I go for it? These rims will fit my car, or a WRX (which I might get next year). What do you guys think?

I used to like the Fireball more but it is about 150 more. The Imperio M-05 is 1000 out the door with tires...

ya..they look kind of simialr, but they are 5 zigens yeah. I assume they are stronger then the GSX rims(bend easily). how much do they weight? I said if u got a great deal, go for it.

Thanks for the input guys. I'm frantically searching online for better deals and other styles right now. I'm rethinking the M-05 because it does look like stock gsx rims...any suggestions?

Ok I am really indecisive. Just canceled the previous order. Here are the new ones I plan to order in the morn:

Should I get 205/40/17 tires or 215/45/17 (50 bucks more)?

Are you stuck on the Kumho's Marcus? All the info I've seen rated the Yokohama ES100 better for performance. In fact, I'm very soon to be replacing 2 worn BridgeStones RE730 with them (waiting in the car for a chance to install). They are a newer compound that is supposed to give better grip for longer. I like the tread design better too...

Thanks for the advice Juan, but I already ordered it this morning with the Kuhmo Ecsta Supra 711 (really cheap $70 tires). I currently have the 712's, but I decided to stick with a cheaper all season tire because I will be driving in rain/snow in NM. BTW, I got 215/45/17 on a 7" wide rim with 42 mm offset. I stuck with 215 as opposed to 225 to be safe I guess...

I have the AVS ES-100's in 215/45/17's, and they are a badass tire.i had Nitto Nt-450's on my 16's before and they are crap compared to the Yokohamas.Iv'e heard a few good things about the Ectsa Supra 712's too, so your probably good either way.

I have those wheels in gunmetal, they are sweet. I'll try to get pics soon but I can't get the center cap in go on the front, any ideas?
