I know that this has been discussed a lot. You might try the search feature. And also on the main page is a write up for how to do it. -Chris b.

that black box is much like the black box in cockpit recordings. It recrods your speed and anything said in the car. So if you ever crash, the FBI can look over it and see exactly what went wrong. Make sure you put that in a VERY secure spot, so as not to break it.

ok, time for the serious post.
there should be 2 wires coming from one end of the black box. One is a power one is a ground. The power is prolly red, ground is prolly black.
The wires comng out the other end will have small little black clips on them. Just clip those on to the wire comong from the actual gauges. It doesnt have to be hooked up in any certain order.
For placing the black box, i was actually able to put it behind where your power mirror controls are. once your guage assmebly is out, you will probably be able to do the same.
Good Luck. BTW, is the backround of your indiglos white or silver?

does it have little buttons on the end of it? if so, that is just to change the shade of the color.

i think they might be buttons..it looks kindda like a computer cord..like inside a computer..just smaller..at the end there are these two like traingle things (maybe buttons) that have like tape on the back to peel off so i can tape it or mount it somewhere? Also..how do i make the gauges stick? they didn't give me glue or tape..what should i use..thanks..I REALLY APPRECAITE ALL YOUR HELP GUYS!

They are the buttons. I hooked the power wire on mine to the illumination wire on the radio harness. Works great and I still can use my dimmer switch.
