Depending on the state you live in and your insurance coverage, gotta have comprehensive I believe, it should be free or at least pay the deductible. When my windshield cracked, I just called the glass place and they took care of everything, including dealing with the insurance. Good luck!!!!

I had mine replaced because it had 6 years of chips and nicks. Gotta love insurance. :-)
Without insurance, though, the glass company listed my windshield at $718.65.

I got mine for $200, no insurance, think it was used but itlooks fine, if yur in the bay area I know where this great place is that did it for me

Check with your insurance man, I did not pay squat for mine. Not even the deductible. Also, if it is covered under federal law, the insurance people can't jack up your rates. At least I know in FL, it is. Good luck.

Isn't insurance paying for it George? Im so happy insurnace gave me so much $ although it seems your accident was bigger then mine. I still got that turbo kit. HURRY UP AND BUY IT. haha

I get my windshields for free since my parents own a glass company : P If you go through insurance, you have to pay your deductible and they pay the rest since they dictate how much it is going to cost. They really rip themselves off but oh well. A lot of the time if you just pay with cash, the glass company will cut you a deal.
