today i got a dent in my door its like 2inches long and an inch long how much do you guys and girls think it would cost to fix?? have any of you had dents removed just wondering how much on average it costs to fix. I got quoted at $500 seems a bit steep.

Well you have to repaint it and reclear coat the whole door. You need a shop that can blend too. I would average cost would be around 300 or so.

Where exactly in the door is it located? You could try taking the door panel off and pushing the dent out from the inside.

its right in the middle of the door, I think im going to shop around at autobody shops. the shop that quoted me 500 didnt even look at the car, im not sure what that is all about. thank you guys though.

there's a guy around here, I used to work at a Auto Detailing Shop (cleanin and such), the guy comes around once a week, he does that Paintless Dent Removal, from what I hear he's pretty good... try lookin for one of those guys??
