A local guy here said he would trade me his white fiberglass blitz bumper for my stock bumper and $40...he has only had it for less then 4 months...would you trade...is that an even trade? What do you think/

Well.....there is an upside and a downside.
+'s:
-Aftermarket front ends are pimp no matter what kind it is -Its already painted -You know it fits right -Direct bolt on -You don't really have to pay anything -You are getting paid to put a blitz bumper on your car and don't have to worry about selling your old bumper
-'s:
-You will now be the owner of THE most widely owned eclipse aftermarket front there is -The stock fronts are already perty and look aftermarket with simple mesh installed -There seem to be less stock bumpers on eclipse's then blitz bumpers ;)
I would do it if it is indeed in good shape. All personal preferance though.

Blitz bumpers are played out online and at car shows. But around the streets, I still like certain cars I see with common kits.
One thing to look out for. Make sure the white blitz bumper actually fits good. Even though it's painted, that doesn't mean it doesn't fit good. I would leave your stock bumper on unless you plan to get a full kit, but that's just my opinion. My car is missing a body kit front.

Its jus nice for me to see a nice clean car. There are alot of *gulp* nice civics *gasp* around here. Nice, clean, kitted out Civics. Its funny though, around here all the civics are nice and all the eclipse's n other nice cars are generally done in poor taste. I love goin down the road and seeing a sweet ass, clean, kitted out car that is done in great taste, no matter what kit it is. If it looks nice, then it looks nice.
