I took off my momo steering wheel b/c the power wire came loose since it was a short wire. When I opened the steering wheel I pulled the other end of the power wire off the metal ring inside behind the hub. I tried soldering it back on (since it apparently was soldered) but no good. I plugged the ground into the ground terminal, and its lugged onto that bigass steering post columb where you put the bolt back in the center. The power wire is crimped with a female connector on the power terminal of the back of the horn. I put it all back together and the horn still doesnt work. Any ideas, help me plz .

Ideas? Yeah get a new horn...our horn sounds super ghey imo.

It already IS a aftermarket horn. My stock horn went out the first 3 months I owned the car, back in 1998.

I want a fog horn. :P Get some sparco externals, and tap the ground onto one of the bolts that hold the steering wheel in place. Use extra wire and conectors to get enough slack to turn the wheel. Tuck the slack into the square stock part b4 the hub. That's what I had to do with my momo. The momo horn in the middle wouldn't stay plugged into the wire. The spokes to the hub tangled the wire too easily. For this, you don't need that part that came off.

You can get a loop end connector and splice it on to the wire, then put a screw that holds the wheel on thru the screw, pinching the loop end between the steering wheel and hub and having the screw run thru it. This is ur ground wire. run the other end to the horn button. Should work.
