Well i am going to get my car repainted this summer and need help on deciding color. I have it down to pretty much two colors, Ford artict blue mettallic or Lexus IS300(also Toyota Celica) Spectra Blue Mica. I will have graphite powdercoated wheels with this. Which looks better?

I would go with the lexus blue, it looks really pimp. I like the other blue too but the lexus blue would make you car really look mean, only down side would be if you have a kit on your car it wouldnt stand out as much. But either way it would look really nice. Later.

Dude those are just like the shades of blue I was trying to choose between. But the lighter metallic blue I want is a bit more bluish (its not off any car but custom mixed). The cool thing is, you can get the basic altezza blue color, and then mix in any other pearls into the paint, or if you want it more noticeable, just put the pearl into the clear coat. Its so hard to decide, since the lighter blue makes the kit more noticeable, and will not show dirt as easily as the darker blue. But if you take good care of the dark blue, it looks really good all shiny. I would say either one, toss a coin hehe...oh, are we still meeting at the body shop at maybe 3:30 on saturday?

Yea, i will be there. Picking up the bulbs and mesh. Plus the lighter blue wouldn't show as much of any defect in the paint right? I have seen an Eclipse in that light blue with the blitz kit and showoff front and it looked tight. I don't have the extra money to add pearl to the lexus blue. Would that lighter blue go with gunmetal rims? What color would I make my mesh with the light blue. I also will probably paint my interior white. I think it will look pretty tight.
Also the guy that owns the light blue car e-mailed me pics of his car but he sent them in zip format. Can i please email these to someone who can open zip files and then they convert it to jpeg or bitmap file send it back to me?

I think you should leave the mesh silver, or paint it the same color as your car. Oh and I can get any pearls added into the paint job for free for you if you want - I'm not sure but I think other shops would charge at most an extra 200 or so? So are we meeting at 3:30? Do you need address or directions?

Yeah I am going to have to go with Chris "klipzracer" on the blue. Every one is going blue these days. Go with something new. I would like to get the color shift paint but I don't have that kind of cash. I have seen a 99 GSX that has the old 3000GT white pearl "Looked Phat" it had a nice hew to it at night. but do what ever you like. just wated to put my 2 cents in. thanks

Yup that's the address. I think the mesh may be 10 to 15 depending on how much. But for stock bumper, it should only be 10 bucks. Don't worry, I'll hook you up...ya its 9840 alpaca. From either 10 or 60 freeways, you exit Rosemead, then turn on Rush, then make a right on Potrero, and a left on Alpaca. Alpaca is not that far down on Potrero, but you gotta look out for it because it is actually a big driveway, and not a real street. Turn left on alpaca, and you will pass Modern Speed and ABCD on the right, and T&L is at the end. Just look for fixed up cars in the parking lot to find all three shops. Let me know if you have any questions.
