how does that sub sound in that enclousure?
i really want to buy that type of box because i miss my trunk space.

the sub sounds awesome. i guess some of it is because we have hatchbacks so the sound stays in the car. and jl makes the box especially for the speaker, so you get optimal sound. i really love it because i get all my trunk space back, but the light to the trunk is gone now to make room for the box. i highly recommend it. ive had it for like 3 years and its the only thing ive stuck with for that long. i think i paid like $450 for the box and speaker.

another question, do you know if they sell them for the right side as well? i have 2 10" subs and could probably only afford the left side at first. but eventually get the right side for my other sub. any idea?

wow, that stuff is wicked clean. nice box too. i've got a 12" eclipse in a crazy custom box that a friend of mine and i made out of fiberglass. we took out the spare tire (ha! who needs that POS?) and used a pneumatic cut-off wheel to take out the metal support... put some gray carpet down, and fiberglassed it in. it fits awesome! makes it look like i don't have a system either with the cover we made, which was my intention after my car got broken into. dam low-life theves, they suck.

do they make those boxes in 12" trim, for each side of the hatch???...I want something like that so my 2 12's are facing like the middle of the back seat (from the back corners of the hatch) and angeled towards the back glass just a tad...

hey d'you know where they sell that enclosure? anywhere online? i live in hawaii and i highly doubt anyone carries that kinda custom stuff here... shipping's a bitch too (paid $180 to ship my catback...). just wondering. thanks.

i got it from a local audio shop. they also have them at tweeter, which is probably the only chain that carries them

they have to call JL and place the order, then JL custom makes it and ships it to the shop. its not like they have them sitting in a wharehouse so it took a week or two
