Does anyone know of a red hose kit that the color is a deep red kinda like the exterior of my car? I got a "red" one from ebay and it should really be called orange/pink. Its horrible....

It doesn't have to match exactly just be close.

Also thinking about painting my header. Will that ceramic 1600 degree paint work or would the 500 degree be enough??

Chad

you will need at least the 1600 paint. And what kind of stuff for your engine bay are you looking for? Silicone or Wire Loom? At Performance by Design in Shawnee I saw some real deep red wire loom that they had there in about 4 different sizes and is probably what you are looking for.

I seen some deep red silicone hose at checkers today, was pretty cheap too.

I will have a look at some of the local shops.....Thanks for the tips guys....I suppose I am actually looking for both the wire loom and the hose.

Thanx again,

i took off my (stock) header and cut/ground those heat sheild mounting thingys off. it looks a lot better. oh, and painted that beotch blue. you could also try rounding of the corners a lil bit. but damn, just get a header, they say. i say bored as heck at home with a grinder and an fugly exhaust manifold.
