Wow tight how much does it cost? It has two humps on it, that's a new look. I think the scoops are made for the turbo 2g's though, they're where the intakes are... Does it come with the latches and all too?

I remember seeing some place that sold carbon fiber hoods for 2g's with latches and all also. I think it was extreme MS...

Well it looks pretty rugged, do you hafta paint it? Also the scoop is on the wrong side isnt it? I thought it was supposed to be over the intake?

That scoop is for the turbo eclipse which has its intake on that side, so its kinda on the wrong side for our cars. But it looks more like a hole than a scoop. I'd rather have no hole. Its cool that they have two humps. Maybe we can get a group buy going for this. I can see if my parts manager is interested in setting up a dealer account with them, but its kind of hard because we don't sell that much eclipse stuff compared to all the honda and acuras...

You can get ahold of him at www.bodykitsnw.com I have been talking to him about the CF hoods they offer.. have a 3 year warranty on them. If anyone is interested I can talk them and see if I can swing by and check to see how this hood will line up on a 99 eclipse since they are a couple miles away. If you email them they are pretty quick to repsond.

I didn't know anyone was going to post this on a board till someone told me lol. Well thanks for going to the website, but it is under major construction. The online catalog has been taken down for now, and we will probably have it back up later tonight. Yes, this hood is for the turbo eclipse. I am not sure if we will flush that other hole out. That would require modification to the mold. If you have any questions or want to start a group purchase or something please let me know.

Don't FRET! We have them available without the scoops and our 3 year warrenty!
The hood with the scoops is new for the turbo eclipse owners. This has a finished underframe. I am having a groupbuy at http://www.groupbuycenter.com/buy.asp?row_id=2335

hmmm.........475 dollas? how much to be shipped to ohio and do you take paypal? and i also don't want hood pins. do i have to get them for this hood? as you can tell by the pic the hood i have is a black factory hood with mad dents in it. so i'm kinda in the market for a new hood.

Any hoods out there with the scoop on the driver side (where the bump is) for those of us that are non turbo.. I would think that would help the air flow for the short ram intake. no??

Yah 475.00 w/ 3 year warrenty. Or you can get one without the warrenty for 400.00 + shipping. Shipping to you will probably be aboue 125.00.

We don't make a carbon fiber hood with a scoop on the drives side for the non-turbo eclipse, nor do we distribute one. I am sorry, but I will keep that in mind.

Does the hood without the scoops have two humps or just one.

you will have to use pins with the hood unless you just ogt money to throw away. does the two-hump hood have a scoop on the back of the drivers hump or am i just imagining its there in the picture. can you make this hood in fiberglass?
