Ya, that's the same white one that made an appearance here before. That is Andre's car, the white one, with 400+ HP to the wheels on pump gas. This guy is an amazing tuner and a cool guy. Looksl ike he might have won something there. I'll hafta ask him about it.

Wait, I don't get it...sun roof IN the targa top? Huh?

Yeah, for them cooler days when you need a lil air but its too cool to take the whole top off, or feel pimp enough to not need ot show off your targa top. ;)

I would do a roof scoop definetely if I were him. Some welding, some molding, have a cover of some kind and have it where the roof scoop would pull air into the sunroof. :P

It isn't a real sunroof, but being a GSX, he had a factory sunroof, which he replaced with a dark tinted piece of Lexan. He is still getting major frame twist, though.

What does it take to make a car so it won't twist with the targa top?
Would the following help? :
Sway bars front and rear, strut bars f-r, a roll bar or cage, and one of those floor bars that goes across the rear floorboard?

he already has all of those. he said the flex was fixed on dsmtalk but didnt say how

this is gay. nobody knows how to fix the flex. Those who do are greedy assholes.

Well, he said that he did some underframe bracing. He angled almost everything, as in, running an angle brace between 2 perpendicular bars. The underframe bracing, I will ask him, next time I talk to or see him, how he braced the underframe.

So....what exactly is the big thing with Targa Tops??? Is it just a looks thing or an individuality thing? Personally i don't like them, thats me though. No flaming por favor as i know i ain't king o fashion here :D It seems to be a big thing on the whole scene nowadays, my friend is tryin to get one on his integra. Besides, i can't exactly be a playa and hate the playas ;) No hard feelings on sharing my opinion....i hope :D

I like them. Especially on Eclipses. I would say it's a looks and a functional thing. Definately a custom look you can personally benefit from if you like having an open top. It's not really an individuality thing, as alot of different cars come with them. It's hot at car shows right now because its a "new" way to customize your car if it didn't have one before. It gets you points from the judges!

In all fairness i should say that i have never really been a fan of them. And after owning a convertible i don't really enjoy them all that much. Bad experiences imo ;) I'll stick with light conversions n such :D
