Could someone help me out here? I'm trying to take the passenger airbag out so i can paint it but have no clue how to take it apart. If anyone know a site that shows how to it would be great. Pics would be even greater!:thumbsup

take the glovebox out and look underneath and find the 4 bolts that hold the airbag on. make sure you disconnect the battery and then unplug the harness

i thought about a mitsu symbol, saw one once and looked good. if you paint the whole thing tho beware that bright colors will reflect in your windshield.

check your fuses, im pretty sure if you blow a fuse the light comes on.

I think it just does that. I don't know how you can blow a fuse with no power to the car. I've taken apart 4 dashes and only 1 hasen't had that light come on. It was a 01 sebring. the others were a 95 talon and 2 97 avengers. SRS light came on on the last 3.

my only guess is to try the dealership. I've never tried going their though so I don't know how much it would cost
