yeah, there is really only one place you can put them. look under the hood between the headlights at the radiator support. see the two rubber hex caps that screw into it? well i drilled my holes just inside of those holes. i tried using those holes but they are threaded, so when the post is installed for the pins, it sits at an angle facing the windshield. so i drilled about an inch inside of these. you have to remove the front bumper to thread the nuts onto the back of the posts, and be careful when drilling not to hit the top of the radiator (i did) then put some caulk or something on the top of the post and close the hood on them, then drill where the caulk is stuck to the hood. you will have to do this twice, once for the metal supports under the hood and once through the hood itself.

i used those and when i installed them i just pushed on them t adjust them. hell, it's not that hard to flex that metal in that area. but i gotta question. i'm swayin towards a carbon fiber hood(since i won't have to paint it, hehe) but i don't want to drill into the hood. i mostly don't want them cause they rust too easy. any opinions/solutions???

the good hood pins dont rust (sparcos) mine did though. if you do get a CF hood you need to go ahead and drill into it or else you will lose another hood
