29994, Removing Headlights Posted by MARKUS, Aug-30-02 12:09 AM
I am going to be removing the amber lense from my headlights tonight. Are the headlights easy to remove?
Thanks.

Pretty straight forward.
Only prob it the nut behind the front bumper. You do not have to take off your bumper....ive said this before....just get a flat head screwddriver, wrap a cloth around it... then stick it inbetween the bottom of your headlight and the top of your bumper and kinda press down so u have a small opening. Then get a real long extension and grab the bolt and take it out.
As far as taking off the actual lense, some people put thiers in the oven. Im not sure how hot or how long...someone else will prolly post with temps and time. I got my lens off with a heat gun i bought from menards for like 20 bux.
good luck.,
