I took my car to the body shop more than three weeks ago to get a major makeover(it was suppost to be done in under two weeks). Well it is still not done, but it is close. It is a 1999 RS that was kalapana black. I'm having it painted 2001 BMW black sapphire metallic. I went to go see it today and it looked awesome(the color that is, the car is still not put back together). I had the body man paint the center taillight piece, and the foglight inserts. I am also having wings west OEM side skirts and door caps put on it and the three piece Grillcraft front bumper kit. The minute I get it home from the body shop, I'm putting the 18's on, and will probably have my suspension done sometime this weekend. I will post some pics when it is done. Now all I have to do is wait a couple more days.

My car had some minor imperfections and it needed a paint job. My favorite color on cars is metallic black. Eclipses do not come in metallic black, so I bought a flat black one. Since I needed the paint job I decided to go ahead and get the metallic paint sprayed rather than the stock Mitsubishi color.

where are you getting it done at? it sounds like your pumped for it to come back haha

I'm getting it done at a local body shop called Quality Auto Construction. I went to go check to see if it was done today. It wasn't, but it's extremely close to being done.

What the hell are you talking about black is not black. There is pearl black, flat black, metallic black, and whatever else. If your car is in the sun does it sparkle? No it shines, but is doesn't sparkle because it doesn't have metal flake. By the way I love your car, but I do not appreciate the negativity in your post.
