i know i read this somewhere before here but i did a search and still couldnt find it, if anyone could post where the old topic was or just answer here that would be great. i want to get one of the chrome emblems from the new eclipses to put in the place of the front emblem i have now. i went to the dealer and they just said it couldnt be done. i know it can be done ive seen people here with them on. how do you do it? he said to do it youd have to do fiberglass work over the front emblem to put the new one on and stuff. any help here is greatly appreciated.

Go back to the dealership in the parts department and tell them you would like to order a 2002 chrome mitsu emblem for a lancer. If they give you problems which they shouldn't pm me and ill get you one.

Just like the guy said above....go in there and tell them you want one. It'll fit I have it on mine! I like the way it looks, even though it was even a little expensive.

Jen paid i believe $20 for her 2002 eclipse chrome emblem which fit her 98 perfect, and I paid $12 for my lancer emblem which was is a little smaller and fit ok on my 96. Look for a post by 98EclipseGirl to see her emblem, she's got a good front end shot for her sig now.

Yeah the 3g eclipse 2002 front emblem will fit on the 97-99 front. I was the first on this board to get it as far as I know...

I got one from Toronto for $8.

Is it the 2002 lancer emblem from the rear that fits? Or is it a front emblem from the lancer? Thanks...

It's probably the front, I got the front emblem off the 2003 eclipse since its a little rounded to fit the contour of the hood instead of being just flat like the back of the car..

Just go to the Dealer and say you want a Chrome Front Emblem off the 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse.

I have a 98 Eclipse Spyder and it fits perfectly. Cost me $12.95

Here's a Picture of what it looks like - just peel off the old emblem, clean of any sticky residue and put the New Chrome Emblem on (There should be double side 3M tape already on the new emblem).





Took about 30 seconds to install. It not that difficult. Stupid Dealer - It won't fit - what a Dumb Ass.
