I am going to paint it today. I'll post some pics this weekend. I hope it comes out nice!!! Posted by slowGS, Apr-13-01 12:39 PM i have my stock tails and painted an altezza ceneter piece,, i popped the clear lens off and painted the back side of it,, then popped it back in and sealed it with silicone,, gives a look of clear coat, plus it wont chip

2977, RE: Painted rear center tail light........... Posted by guest, Apr-14-01 07:16 AM First I peeled off the "eclipse" stickers. Then i sanded it down with some wet sand paper. Then I put three seperate layers of paint on it. I bought the paint at an auto part store. After that I put two coats of clear coat on it. Thats it and it looks way better than the altezza center piece.
