29685, banshee bumper...done

Well, I just got my bumper painted and mounted. Jason and I mounted it and it was a bit of a struggle. Anyways it matches up well and its made out of fiberglass. The biggest problem with the bumper is its maybe 2 inches off the ground and I cannot drive up steep driveways. Here's some pics of it and I f**kin luv it. Now, not all you ppl get this damn bumper and be like the blitz.

I've never seen that bumper before, it looks sweet!! But good luck with keeping paint on the bottom. My car has the stock bumper, but I have a 2" drop and it scrapes on everything. Just drive slow and sideways over all dips and bumps is my advice.

It looks super clean, I like it! Good job.

If that's your first fiberglass bumper you should probably order another one. You're going to scrap the fuck out of that one while you learn what you can and can't go over.

I had two blitz fronts. The first one I had was gone in a matter of months. The second one lasted a little longer. I now have the almost impossible to obtain "showoff" now. It is a lot higher and will only scrape if I go too fast.

Jason, I don't remember but is Jarrad your brother? If so, I can't believe you let him get a body kit bumper hehe :) . I don't think you'd ever go that route would you?
29695, you're right, I wouldn't....

Yep, I guess I have to claim him.

If so,

He's definitely a bit more aesthetically inclined than I am. As you might guess, him being 19 and myself at 28, we have our priorites in slightly different orders. While both of us want to be fast and look nice, he puts a much larger emphasis on the latter, while I prefer the former. And no, you guessed right Marcus, body kits and altezzas will NEVER see my talon. However, he can indulge all he likes. (Frankly, I couldn't believe he wanted to "bling-bling" do it, but afterwards I have to admit, it looks a lot better than I thought it would.)

"Pimpzin'" da honeys just isn't much of a priority for me (or my wife) anymore. ;-)

No, I bought the Integra lights off ebay for $20bux. They have two bulbs in them, I have one blub hooked up from the stock corners off the eclipse but the other I will have to splice off. I will have more pics soon. Better ones.
Thxs for the feedback.
I won't scrape it I dont think. I have already a couple of times but its only the bottom side of the bumper. Like with the stock 97 bumper the edges are rounded off so you could see the scrapes, this bumper is straight-edged so you can't see the scrape at all.
Also my bumper has lifetime warranty on chips or scrapes. They warned before hand driving on the freeway rock will chip it away, after awhile I will bring it in to get painted again.
Also I live in Il, roads are flat and where I live I dont know any bad roads. The new things is though I dont go up driveways. I cant seem to get down without scraping the bottom.

Sweet man!! That looks super clean.

Yeah pulling up and down driveways is gonna be your worst enemy, do everything to avoid them. My funniest story is I was at McDonalds drive thru, order, paid, got the food and was leaving when there is a SUPER steep edge....I'm like shit, I'm gonna lose my bumper. So I got an idea to go all the way around the drive thru backwards to the entrance - sure enough a car came. I ended up going down the driveway backwards and looked like an ass, but hell I saved my bumper :)
29698, Looks Damn Good!!!
