I have found kits for the BMW. I have the same plan. I think the mod will look sweet as hell.

go here
http://www.omnitecmotorsports.com/

email the owner and ask him about the Gen 1 led kits

Hi,

I'm going to school for mechanical engineering in the fall, and should have access to a machine shop - If all you're looking for is plastic "donuts" to surround the projectors, I can probably make some out of 1/4"-1/2" lexan, at minimal cost. Heck, here's an idea for anyone wanting to try it - use two hole saws, one 4" dia, one 3.5" dia, and drill through the same blank of lexan. You can then use sandpaper/dremel to clean up the edges, and mount it however you see fit.

hate to break it but it ant gana work that easy, you just can make a plastic ring. Look at it like this, euro clear side markers, the light just shine threw, but normal the light is dispersed. You need to carefully plan out a martrix around the plastic ring, you will have to sit infront of a CNC machine.

woah, almost ready to just say screw it, BUT i'm going to install a blue LED in my hi beam projector so it will glow blue all the time

Why not, it will be fun... remember, I'm going to school for this, so the more time I spend in the shop, the better off I will be when it's actually on my own dime. :)

Be careful with that blue led in your high beam...check your local laws. Buddy of mine did that and he got pulled over 3 times before he gave up and yanked it.
