are there one that makes fender with flares or do i just need to buy the fiber glass ones. and if so what are so different styles. i have not seen any that i like. thanks

as far as i know it wouldn't be worth getting them if your going to actually drive you car as opposed to a show car. i was going to get them a long time ago and eclipse804, plus others, told me that they don't stay very well with our fenders. they would crack and mess up fairly fast. but....ask someone if you you had fiberglass fenders and fiberglass flares if that would help. that might do it as far as i know...but don't take my word for it.

Yeah fender flares are not a good idea for daily driving if you have them molded onto metal fenders. It also depends on how low your car is and the size of your wheels. A lot of cars I see quickly develop small cracks that get worse over time...

would it work then if he got aftermarket fenders that were fiberglass and flares that were also? that way they'd be molding to something it could stay onto right? or would the stress still make it not do able?

To be honest, I'm not sure if that would be safer or not. Either way, if you ever scrape or something, it will most likely crack. I've seen quite a few fender flares crack in various places, usually near the edges. A lot of shops don't know how to do it right, so I would not recommend them unless you are trying to build a show eclipse that you would be very careful driving, and willing to pay and repaint if it cracks. It's just like how many wide body kits have simllar probs.

what about bubbling out my fenders.

the problem with body shops these days is that most of them dont know anything about metal working...Usually they just do fiberglass, but like everyone said, its just no good on the street..one good smack and its ruined....If your really into doing some kind of b ody work that you intend to run on the street than maybe you could check out a body shop that does metal working on old classis cars. Cars like those dont win show points without having real metal for their bodies...So, if your big into doing it and you have the dough, than look in the phone book for someplace that does old car restoration because those guys will actually know how to shape metal....
